Kennedy Space Center has an amazing visitors complex. There is an immense amount of history here and some of the most amazing things ever constructed by mankind.
the powerhouse of a saturn V rocket.
the third stage for the saturn V rocket. this engine helped propel the space capsule and astronauts to 25,000mph. enough to break away from earths gravitational field and reach lunar transfer velocity. next to it is the lunar lander.
a exact replica of the space shuttles external tank and two solid rocket boosters. my three year old son is near the booster on the right. this thing is huge!
